Wayland Sports is home to 5 children’s sport facilities in the lower mainland. With two locations in Richmond, and facilities in Chilliwack, Surrey and Maple Ridge, Wayland Sports provides sport instruction to over 10 000 children per year!  Our founder, Ying Wang, chose the name “Wayland” because it sounds like “未来   Wei Lai”, which means “future” in Chinese.  At Wayland Sports, we believe that a strong foundation in sport, provides a strong foundation in life - creating a promising future!

Recreation Program Director

As the Recreation Program Director, you will assist with the overall management and co-ordination of programming at the Wayland Sports Surrey location.  You will have a passion for teaching children recreational gymnastics and possess outstanding leadership and communication skills.  You will report directly to the SEO of Wayland Sports Ltd.

You will work closely with the SEO, Competitive Director, Registrar, and the coaching staff to deliver top notch gymnastics and related programs to the members of Wayland Sports. As the successful candidate; you hold NCCP level 2 gymnastics certification, a valid first aid certificate, have completed a criminal record check, are proficient in current technologies and web based applications and have administrative and leadership experience.

Start: August 2017

Remuneration:  This is an hourly position which includes 25-30 hours of coaching and 10-15 hours of program planning and administrative tasks weekly.  Conditions of employment and remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications.
