Eight B.C. gymnasts nominated for the 2013 World Age Group Trampoline Championships

Kyle Carragher heada shotKyle Carragher (TAG, right) heads a group of eight B.C. trampoline gymnasts nominated for the 2013 World Age Group Championships in Sofia Bulgaria from November 14-17.

Carragher is a triple threat for medals as he will compete in three events – men’s DMT (15-16), trampoline (15-16) and tumbling (15-16).

Joining him on Team Canada are (age categories are in parenthesis):

Trevor Stirling (Okanagan): Trampoline (15-16)
Tamara O’Brian (TAG): Tumbling (17-18)
Jared Khalifa (TAG): Tumbling (15-16)
Emma Tucker (Okanagan): DMT (15-16)
Danielle Gruber (Okanagan): DMT (15-16)
Rachel Stone (Okanagan): DMT (17-18)
Douglas Armstrong (Flip City): DMT (17-18)

Also from B.C. are DMT team coach Barb Fraser (TAG) and trampoline team coach Angelo Despotas (Interim National Junior Team coach).
