Customer Service Representative

Langley Gymnastics Foundation is a non-profit society aimed at providing support for all recreational and competitive gymnastics athletes that are members of our club. We are located in the Langley Events Centre, and we are currently seeking a reliable and friendly individual to join our team in a customer service and administrative support role. Duties include data entry, answering customer inquiries, creating customer accounts, and other general administrative duties. The ideal candidate must have good communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrate a friendly attitude and willingness to learn, and have the ability to problem solve while working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Data entry and filing, organize and distribute mail
  • Assist customers over the phone, via email, and in person using a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Create customer accounts, complete program registrations, and apply invoices and payments to accounts
  • Ensure the lobby and bathroom area is tidy
  • Assist the administrative team with various tasks as requested

Qualification Requirements

  • Understanding of customer needs, and ability to respond to those needs quickly with a friendly demeanor.
  • Exceptional phone manner and customer service skills required, and previous experience in a customer service and/or office support role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
  • High level of initiative and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities, work independently and integrate with our existing team.
  • Applicants must have high proficiency with MS Office programs and ability to learn the online registration and client membership software we use, Amilia (training provided).

This is a 25-35 hours/week position, and may include evenings and weekends. We offer competitive compensation, based on experience.
