Delta Gymnastics is looking to hire an enthusiastic and extremely organized customer-service driven member to be our front end representative and a key player in our administrative team. If you thrive on an active and busy environment, enjoy working with children and families, and have strong admin skills... this is a position for you!

This full time position (37.5 hours per week) reports to the Business Manager and responsibilities include effectively managing inquiries and registration services, providing accurate, valid and complete information, handling complaints, following communication guidelines, and DGS policies and procedures. Staff Services responsibilities include assisting with human resources file maintenance and record keeping. Other duties include providing event, marketing and board support and other duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years experience preferably in customer service, event planning, business development, and/or marketing & sales
  • Extremely well-organized, can set timelines and achieve goals with little supervision
  • Proven customer service skills including the ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Strong writing skills; strong initiative; strong phone contact handling skills
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Experience working with online databases and with website management
  • Dependable, reliable, committed and professional

Assets:

  • Previous experience at a recreation type facility
  • Relevant experience/education in human resources
  • Personal passion for sport development and an active lifestyle

Schedule

  • Tuesday to Friday 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Wages:

  • Salary range ($29-$33K approx) plus benefits.
