The Okanagan Gymnastics Centre is located in Kelowna, BC. Just named the Number One Wine Destination in the world, Kelowna has it all - beautiful weather, world-class ski hills, hiking, great restaurants, biking, golfing, beaches, and lake activities.

OGC is a vibrant non-profit organization with a wide range of recreational and competitive gymnastics programs. We are currently seeking a Head Coach for our MAG program. We are looking for applicants who are willing to work full- or part-time, with options for 0.6 or 1.0 positions, depending on experience and certification. Coaching schedules can include daytime, evening, and possibly weekends. Two consistent days off per week will be provided in the scheduling; schedules may change per session. Pay based on hours, experience, and certification.

Terms of Employment:
• Permanent, Part- or -full time; must be willing to work weekends, days and evenings

Start Date:
• As soon as possible

Salary and Benefits:
• Competitive salary
• 25 - 40 hours per week

• NCCP Competition Level 2 or higher
• Some high performance and national level experience
• Must have at least 5 years experience
• Must have valid First Aid, or be willing to take a certification
• Trampoline certification an asset
• Must be a team player
• Criminal Record Check will be required
• Current Respect in Sports
• Must be reliable, responsible, professional, self motivated and organized
• Must be able to enforce safety rules and regulations

Main Duties:
• Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions
• Motivate and prepare athletes for competitions
• Participate in coaching clinics and instruction
• Observe, analyze and evaluate athletes
• Mentor junior coaches
• Willing to travel and attend competitions when required
