Gymnastics BC honours those who dare to dream

Gymnastics BC honoured the province’s top athletes, coaches and volunteers at its annual awards banquet this past Saturday in Burnaby. Seventy-five individuals who have made their dreams a reality this past season received plaques, scholarships and recognition for their hard work.

Poppy Quinlan (Shasta) added to Team Canada’s medal total with a bronze medal in Women's DMT 17+. Quinlan was just 0.100 points behind Canadian teammate Caitlin Brown and 0.600 behind gold medalist Australia's Emily Irvine.

Duncan Blais (Shasta) added to Team Canada’s medal total with a gold medal in Men’s DMT 11-12. Blais topped the field by almost three points on his way to the victory.
