Kyna Fletcher, National Team Director – WAG, steps down

After three years of being committed to directing the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics National Team program, Kyna Fletcher has decided to leave Gymnastics Canada and step down from her position of National Team Director – WAG at Gymnastics Canada (GCG).

PLAY Gymnastics at YVR Health Fair on Saturday

PLAY Gymnastics BC is setting up a gymnastics circuit at the 2014 Vancouver Diversity Health Fair this Saturday (March 1). Children can try gymnastics while their parents learn more about the benefits of recreational gymnastics.

BC Winter Game conclude in Mission

The 2014 BC Winter Games concluded today in Mission as Darby McIntyre (Duncan) won the women's Provincial 4 title. Tamara Skulstad (Twisters) won the silver and her Twisters teammate Ella Palmer won the bronze.

B.C. gymnasts win 22 medals at Elite Canada

Shallon Olsen (left) won silver in the junior women's all around competition. Rose Woo and Audrey Rousseau won gold and bronze.Twelve B.C. athletes returned home this weekend from Elite Canada in Gatineau, Quebec with 22 medals including seven gold. Headlining B.C.’s medalists were Scott Morgan (Flicka) and Shallon Olsen (Omega).

40 B.C. gymnasts to compete at artistic Elite Canada

World championship finalists Ellie Black of Halifax (Alta Gymnastics) and Scott Morgan of North Vancouver (Flicka) lead the country’s top gymnasts into competition this weekend at the annual artistic Elite Canada meet February 7-9 in Gatineau, Que.
