Coming Soon! Gymnastics BC Recreational Parkour

Gymnastics BC
Recreational Parkour

Gymnastics BC is nearing the launch of its new recreational parkour training program, in partnership with the International Parkour Federation (IPF) and the World Freerunning Parkour Federation (WFPF).

We’re aiming to offer our first recreational parkour certification course at the beginning of the 2017-18 season, at a location to be determined. Once certified, instructors will be entered into the WFPF database and eligible to coach recreational parkour at any Gymnastics BC member club or WFPF-affiliated facility. If your gym is thinking about offering recreational parkour this season, you’ll need WFPF certified coaches to get started; only WFPF certified coaches are permitted to deliver recreational parkour programs in GBC full member clubs.

Before we launch our first recreational parkour certification course, we need to gauge interest and determine whether to host it in the Lower Mainland or the Okanagan—that's where you come in!  Answer our quick online survey (it takes 1 minute or less!) to let us know a) if you are interested in attending the course and b) your desired course location.
Here are the course details:
