Three B.C. athletes to represent Canada at Portugal Challenge Cup

Briannah Tsang (Flicka), Scott Morgan (Flicka) and Ken Ikeda (Twisters) are scheduled to represent Canada at the Challenge Senior Cup in Anadia, Portgual. The trio will compete on their best apparatus at the meet from June 21-23.

Tsang, the Canadian silver medalist on vault, will compete on three apparatus (vault, uneven bars and floor exercise). She is joined in the women's competition by Victoria Kayen Woo and Stefanie Merkle.

Event specialists Morgan and Ikeda will go for gold on their best apparatuses: floor exercise, rings and vault for Morgan and pommel horse for Ikeda. Also representing Canada are Evan Cruz, Nathan Gafuik, Kevin Lytwyn and Brandon O’Neil.

B.C. is also represented by coaches Vali Stan (Flicka), Dorina Stan (Flicka) and Richard Ikeda (Twisters) along with judge Jeff Thomson.
