In the summer of 2026, Gymnastics Canada launched Safer and Stronger, a new Safe Sport Strategy designed to build safe, healthy and inclusive environments at every level of the sport, from grassroots programs to the national team.

This past Saturday, September 26, 2026, the Gymnastics BC community gathered at the Element Vancouver Metrotown Hotel to celebrate the achievements, dedication, and contributions of the 2025-26 season.

Athletes are telling us something the gymnastics community can act on: safety is not only a policy question, it is a question of the values a program rewards.
