For Immediate Release
Vancouver, BC (May 6, 2025) — Gymnastics BC (GymBC), in partnership with Pacific Rim Gymnastics, is thrilled to present the 2025 Western Canadian Gymnaestrada, taking place May 9–11, 2025, in Ucluelet, BC.
This vibrant and inclusive event celebrates the spirit of Gymnastics for All, bringing together over 350 participants of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. With a focus on creativity, collaboration, and community, Gymnaestrada showcases group performances that blend gymnastics, dance, and theatrical expression—without the pressure of competition.
“We’re so excited to bring this year’s Gymnaestrada to Ucluelet,” said Aidan Muth, GymBC Events Manager. “This event captures the heart of what gymnastics is truly about—joyful movement, teamwork, and making meaningful connections through sport.”
Hosted in one of British Columbia’s most scenic coastal communities, this year’s event offers an unforgettable Island Escape for attendees, with the support of local partners including the District of Ucluelet and Surf Grove Campground.
The event will consist of one day of interactive workshops and performances on day 2. Tickets for the performance shows are available on the event page. Can’t attend the performances in person? Catch the magic live all weekend on the HomeTeam Network livestream. Details available on the event page.
Media representatives interested in covering the event can contact GymBC’s communications team at communications@gymbc.org to request accreditation.
