Delta Gymnastics Society to Host 2026 BC Gymnaestrada
September 9, 2025
For Immediate Release
Vancouver, BC – September 9, 2025 – Gymnastics BC (GymBC) is thrilled to announce that Delta Gymnastics Society will host the 2026 BC Gymnaestrada, taking place May 1–3, 2026, at the world-class Richmond Olympic Oval in Richmond, BC.
BC Gymnaestrada is one of the province’s largest celebration events of gymnastics and movement, bringing together athletes of all ages, abilities, and disciplines. The weekend will feature a dynamic lineup of workshops and performances, showcasing the creativity and diversity of gymnastics across British Columbia.
This year’s theme, World in Motion, highlights movement as a universal language that transcends cultures, disciplines, and generations. It reflects how our world continues to evolve artistically, technologically, and socially, and how gymnastics embodies that forward momentum.
“We’re excited to be partnering with Delta Gymnastics Society once again to deliver this inspiring and inclusive event,” said Taphatna Duncan, Recreation Program Manager, Gymnastics BC. “World in Motion is the perfect theme to celebrate how gymnastics connects us and drives us forward as a community.”
The official event website, registration, and Workplan #1 will launch mid October. Clubs, athletes, and participants are encouraged to stay tuned for updates.
