Gymnastics BC is pleased to announce that nominations for GymBC and Gymnastics for All (GFA) Awards, as well as applications for GymBC Scholarships, are now open year-round!

Members of the gymnastics community can now submit nominations or scholarship applications at any time during the year, making it easier to recognize outstanding contributions across the province.

To be considered for recognition at that year’s GymBC Awards & Scholarships Celebration Event, nominations and applications must be submitted by July 15.

Submissions received after July 15 will automatically be considered for the following year’s selection process.

GymBC Awards

GymBC Awards recognize individuals and groups who have made meaningful contributions to gymnastics in British Columbia. Nomination-based awards include:

• Coaching Impact Award

• Inclusivity Award

• Outstanding Volunteer (Individual or Team)

• True Sport Award

• Member of Distinction

• Life Member

Gymnastics for All (GFA) Awards

GFA Awards celebrate excellence and leadership within the Gymnastics for All community:

• Gymnaestrada Team of the Year

• Innovator in GFA Programming

• GFA Club Excellence Award

GymBC Scholarships

GymBC Scholarships support members who are pursuing post-secondary education while demonstrating strong leadership, involvement, and commitment to gymnastics and their community.

Scholarship recipients are typically recognized for:

• Demonstrating leadership and positive impact within gymnastics and their community

• Personal contributions to their club, school, and community

• Participation and achievements in gymnastics and other activities

• Strong academic achievement

Awards & Scholarships Celebration Event

Recipients of the GymBC Awards and Scholarships are recognized at the GymBC Awards & Scholarships Celebration Event, which takes place in the fall each year.
