National Day for Truth & Reconciliation

September 25, 2025

September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a time to honour survivors, families, and communities, and to reflect on the legacy of residential schools in Canada.

GymBC recognizes the important role sport can play in reconciliation by fostering inclusion, respect, and understanding. We encourage all members of our community to take time to learn, reflect, and engage in meaningful action.

Moving Forward Together

Wearing orange, participating in local events, and sharing resources are small but meaningful steps. More importantly, reconciliation requires ongoing listening, learning, and action.

GymBC remains committed to fostering an environment where every participant feels safe, valued, and included.

Please note that the GymBC Office will be closed on September 30.
