MAPLE RIDGE, BC — Gymnastics BC (GymBC) is thrilled to announce the 2026 Compulsory & Xcel GymBC Championships, taking place April 16-19, 2026, at the Cam Neely Arena (Planet Ice), in Maple Ridge, British Columbia. The multi-day event will bring together more than 2,000 athletes, coaches, judges, and spectators for a thrilling competition. 

The Compulsory & Xcel GymBC Championships highlight the strength and depth of the WAG program across the province, providing athletes with an opportunity to showcase their progress, performance, and passion for the sport.

Competition Categories

  • WAG Compulsory (CCP): Levels 3–5
  • WAG Xcel: Xcel Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond

"The GymBC Championships are one of the highlights of our provincial calendar," said Jennifer Keith, GymBC CEO. "This weekend is about celebrating our athletes, coaches, judges and clubs, and the incredible work being done to grow gymnastics in BC. We are grateful to everyone who makes this event possible, and we are thrilled to welcome competitors and fans to Maple Ridge."

GymBC is proud to once again co-host this prestigious event alongside TAG Sports Centre. Their partnership, dedication, and local expertise have been integral to making this championship a high-quality experience for athletes and spectators alike. 

Spectators are welcome to come out and cheer on athletes across all three days of competition at the Cam Neely Arena (Planet Ice), in Maple Ridge, BC. Tickets are available for purchase at the door or in advance at this link. Can't attend in person? Watch live from wherever you are.
