What an incredible weekend on the coast!

From May 9–11, 2025, Gymnastics BC alongside host club Pacific Rim Gymnastics welcomed recreational gymnasts, coaches, and families from across Western Canada to the beautiful town of Ucluelet for the 2025 Western Gymnaestrada.

This year’s theme, Island Escape, brought colour, energy, and creativity to every corner of the event, from the high-energy workshops to two vibrant performance shows.

A Look Back at the Weekend

Day 1 kicked off with an exciting lineup of workshops designed to inspire, energize, and connect participants. Thank you to our incredible workshop presenters for sharing your expertise and enthusiasm with all the athletes.

Day 2 featured two performance shows, where clubs showcased their routines inspired by the “Island Escape” theme. From tropical vibes to ocean journeys, each performance was a celebration of movement, teamwork, and imagination.
